Simple thing, I don't comment all the bull that goes on , on the open forum, discussing Vonage to anything, who cares. Put up the opinions no problem. But there has to be a limit on how and what are you putting up.

I disagree a little bit - this will help people in EB3 indirectly
A lot of people in EB2 and EB3 can qualify for auto adjustment of status now, so it will remove people from EB3 queue making it smaller.

I work for a Fortune 100 company and they have recently denied my request to convert my application to EB2 because its very hard to complete the recruitment and also they are afraid of an audit.
If there are options outside I wouldn't even think for a second, but there aren't that many employers willing to deal with the green card mess.

My I-140 is pending at TSC. Filed 485 on July 25 and reached NSC on July 26. Today I noticed that LUD on 140 case has changed to 08/12/2007. I guess my case is transferred to TSC.

Please DO NOT join this selfish effort aimed at fixing the country limits till MIRAGE gets his green card.

Removal of country limits temporarily and permanently, will both require the support of the majority of both houses of the congress. It will require as much effort to to remove country limits temporarily as it will require to remove country limits permanently.
Some folks here just wants to remove country limits till the time they get their agree card i.e. for the span of 2 years. If removal of country limits is good for EB community and America, then why only remove it for 2 years ONLY.
Such a campaign is likely to divide this community. PLEASE DO NOT divide the community by supporting this mis-directed agenda.
If country caps can be removed temporarily then they can be removed permanently. But asking for less than what key lawmakers have already proposed less than 6 months back is like shooting ourselves in the foot. PLEASE DO NOT throw others under the bus. PLEASE!!!!

1) Lift the Country Cap for Temporary period of time, may be just for 2 years.
2) Limit the Maximum waiting time, say if one applicant is waiting for 5 years than country cap should be exempted and he should be given a preference over a person who�s PD is just 1 year old.

I and my wife have been SCREAMING, FIGHTING for over four years now. We are now so frustrated that we have EVEN DISCUSSED THINGS LIKE TAKING UP OUR LIVES !!! I really mean it. For both of us, our career is the single most important thing.
We had decided to wait for our next step in life like having a kid or putting in a big investment till we both at least have a job. Inspite of both of us having Masters degress from US universities, we are both suffering - me languishing in a filthy job and my wife on H4 - for the past 5 years !!! She is now more than 35 making it difficult to have kids etc...
I don't have the choice of going back to my home country due to many other personal reasons. I just don't know what to do... I am losing my sanity.
Man, this website relieves my stress as it makes me realize that there are people whole lot depressed than I am , and it puts my life into perspective. Stress is only a state of mind.
For you sir, please live up to your username and cheer up. First thing you need to do is make a baby, everything will fall in it's place, trust me.

Can an employer revoke the I-140 after 180 days of I-485 pending?
Yes. However, AC-21 can save the I-485 for the beneficiary even if I-140 is revoked/canceled as long as the date of such request is dated after 180 calendar days of I-485 filing date.

1. Do I need a Green card at ANY cost ( Any cost = Waiting for yrs, Not willing to risk any other options, afraid to raise issues, not pinpointing flaws )
2. Willing to fight for justice.

For the option 2, here we go.I am new to this web site and it seems there are approx 70k people here and lot more outside. Hugh enough to create miracles.
Just to remind ourself who we are. We are Highly skilled LEGAL immigrants. It not only means we are skillful but it also means we pay every damn tax which is out there. We pay for welfare. We pay for unemployed. We pay for pensioners. List goes on. We pay fees for every application processed by USCIS ( Labor, I-140,I-485,I-765,I-131 etc etc ). We pay rent. We buy cars. We buy houses. In short, we are nothing but GOLD to this economy.
However, this one department called USCIS is literally toying with us for yrs now as if we are slaves or we are obligated to them. We dont want anyone to do us any favour. We need justice.

I AM going to face them, confront them, demand them to provide justice, if not I want them to REFUND every penny i have paid so far. If this "I AM" becomes "WE", half the battle won. Why did you file EAD? Waste of money. You will be getting your GC anytime. EB2 ROW is curent.
Yes it is current. But I don't know when they'll be approving it. Besides now we pay $1010 for I-485/131/765. There's no breakdown.
